Great food, good atmosphere and great prices.

Nice place for lunch. Food well prepared and hot. Coffee is fresh. My favorite is the potato soup, and they have a tasty assortment of sandwiches and wraps (for Californians). Service is very good and general atmosphere is friendly. Try them out next time you pass through Penn Yan.

I liked eating there so much that I started ordering pickup on top of dining in. I have never complained about the recipe, or ordered light oil any time other than during pickup because I was worried it would spill in my car - not because I have a problem with the recipe. The cook must have taken it personally though because my entrees are now served at roughly 50% of the portions of everyone else. I don't know how that isn't stealing and it's why I haven't gone back.

Excellent dinner - meatloaf dinner with garlic mashed potatoes & French chit pork chop with melted cheddar-jack cheese with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus and a to-die-for peanut butter pie! A nice cellection of beers on tap as well as bottle as well as a nice cellection of NY wines. Atmosphere: casual Highly recommend

It was very busy when we showed up, and we had to wait a few minutes for a table, but it was worth it for the food in Penn Yan. Our salads were fantastic and the service was prompt and polite. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Got the bacon burger and fries. So delicious! My burger was cooked to my specifications and the staff is really nice and friendly! Would highly recommend. I just wish they had a large place so they could fit more people, because during their busy times of day it can start to feel crowded.

Great food and attentive service! From starters to dessert you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend the tomato gouda soup, Cobb salad, Philly Cheese Steak and apple cobbler. Timmy and Tracy are the best!

Service was good. We arrived shortly after opening time and were greeted by the owner. Service was good, as was the food.

The waitstaff was a little rude and my burger was cold . The regular waitress wasn't working so our experience was not as pleasurable. We felt rushed which isn't very welcoming .

Expected better as the prime rib dinner didappointing. Very fatty and chewy and tough. Garlic mashed luke warm, salad sad. Other meal was Chicken parm sandwich with Timmy G's cole slaw and was very good. Have eaten here before and have been pleased with food but this time should have sent back meal.

Quick friendly service. Always get the grilled salmon. Love it

This is an excellent restaurant, they have the best wing sauce I have ever tasted and their Portobello Sandwich is incredible! However, I would recommend using cash to pay for your meal instead of a credit card.

Would be nice if they would answer the phone considering you can call in and order. Especially now. Called them like 4 times in the last 40 minutes with no response!!!!!

Rarely would I give anyone greater than 4 stars.... But clean friendly fast and great food. I can't believe how good and fast they are. Must try yourself

The other local places I normally go when passing through were closed, but I was parked here already and saw lots of people going in, so I did as well.I am gluten free so my options as always were limited.I had the Cobb Salad, it was delicious and beautifully presented. My compliments to the kitchen...they care!My server was very nice and kind. Everyone working here seemed genuine and caring.Very home town. Menu items were reasonably priced; I would definitely recommend a meal here.It's somewhere I would frequent if I lived closer!

Smallish..hard to find bar restaurant..in rundown part of town..but food and service excellent! Very extensive menu and everything we had to eat delicious with reasonable prices...clearly a local favorite..worth finding..my sister and I will definitely return!!

One of the best crab cake sandwiches I've ever had, at an unbeatable price. The entire menu is incredibly priced, with plenty of options. The staff is incredibly friendly, even to a new face.

Valentine's Day lunch date with the hubby. Beautiful atmosphere. Fantastic food. Even heard out of towners behind us raving that "whoever's in the kitchen really knows what they're doing on everything we've had" My liver was cooked to perfection. As was my husband's fish fry. We will be returning. Only downfall for me was the waitress never stuck around long enough to ask her anything. She stopped by and asked if everything was okay and my husband asked for a water but she was already walking away. I hollered out I wanted one too please and she was already past the bar. Why ask if we need anything then not stick around for an answer? (And she only had 1 other table than us) I have been a waitress for a long time and I found that a bit obnoxious. But all in all it was great and we will be back

Kind of undecided. Have heard good things. It was very busy. Ate at the bar. Ordered pretty quickly. Took a while to get served. Salmon, while tasty, was way overcooked even though I specifically asked for it med rare. Loaded fries were cheesy, but had sat under a heat lamp and got pretty chewy. Crab sandwich was real good.Gluten free pasta is available for $12, but I could not get an answer as to what I could have it with. No sauces were gluten free as far as I could tell, and ain't no way I'm paying $12.99 for a plate of marinara. So... others fish dinners looked good. Staff was friendly and hustling. Owner was present and hands on. Would definitely stop back in again if in the area.
